Am I a Candidate for CoolSculpting?

Am I a Candidate for CoolSculpting?

Are flat abs and toned thighs part of your New Year’s Resolution? Making health your priority is always a good way to start the new year. Eating right and exercising regularly, however, may not help you get your dream body.

Diet and exercise can only take you so far. If you follow a healthy diet, workout consistently, and are at or close to your desired weight, but still struggle with stubborn pockets of fat, then you may be a candidate for CoolSculpting®.

At Montclair Rejuvenation Center, our medical aesthetic expert, Dr. Kelly Destefan, and team of aestheticians offer many treatments to help you look as good as you feel. We can help you get flatter abs and slimmer thighs without surgery or downtime with CoolSculpting Elite.

We are the only medical spa in Essex County, New Jersey, with CoolSculpting Elite — the newest body contouring tool.

Are you a candidate for CoolSculpting? Let’s see.

All about CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting Elite is one of the newest nonsurgical body contouring tools. It helps get rid of stubborn pockets of fat from nine areas of the body without surgery or downtime.

CoolSculpting uses innovative technology that freezes and destroys unwanted fat cells without affecting any other cell, tissue, or organ. This targeted cooling can trim away 20 to 25% of fat in the treated area.

You may feel some tugging and pulling during the first few minutes of your CoolSculpting session, but most of these sensations go away once the area numbs. After your session, we massage the treatment area to break up the fat cells and enhance the removal process.

Most CoolSculpting sessions take less than an hour.

CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared to treat visible bulges of fat found on your:

It also reduces fat under the chin — the double chin — and along the jawline.

Once your body removes the damaged fat cells from the area, they don’t come back.

Candidates for CoolSculpting

We conduct a one-on-one consultation before deciding if CoolSculpting makes the right choice for you. Yes, CoolSculpting helps you lose unwanted fat, but it’s not a weight-loss procedure.

You may be a candidate for our nonsurgical body contouring treatment if you’re at or close to your desired weight, but can’t seem to shake loose those stubborn pockets of fat with diet and exercise. Losing weight, or gaining weight, after CoolSculpting may affect your final results.

Good candidates for CoolSculpting also need to have realistic expectations. Our body contouring treatment can transform your figure, but results take time and may not be as dramatic as surgical body contouring treatments. We also may suggest more than one treatment.

Getting results with CoolSculpting

It takes time for your body to remove those fat cells we destroyed with CoolSculpting. Be patient. You may start to see changes in your body shape about one month after you start treatment, but it may take up to six months until you see the final results.

Yes, once the fat cells are gone they don’t come back. However, the remaining fat cells can grow if you eat more calories than you burn. Continuing to follow your healthy diet and exercise routine is the best way to keep your newly sculpted figure.

Do you think you’re a candidate for CoolSculpting? Then, schedule your one-on-one consultation with our experts by calling our office in Verona, New Jersey, or using the book online tool today.
