Coolsculpting: Freeze Pesky Fat Bulges Away Before Summer

Your body shape and fat distribution is largely determined by your genetics. Though diet and exercise can improve your shape, and your health, you may find that certain pockets of fat won’t budge no matter what you do.

Not too long ago, liposuction was your only option for removing these pesky bulges of unwanted fat. But with advances in technology, our aesthetic specialists at Montclair Rejuvenation Center in Verona, New Jersey, can help you get rid of your fatty bulges with CoolSculpting®

But if you want a more perfect body by summer, you need to get started with your nonsurgical body contouring treatments now.

Freezing away the fat

We know it sounds too good to be true, but we can get rid of those stubborn pockets of fat without surgery or downtime. CoolSculpting is an innovative body contouring tool that uses a technology called cryolipolysis, which is the scientific term for fat freezing.

Your fat cells don’t like the cold and freeze when they reach certain temperatures. Freezing destroys the integrity of the fat cell, which your body recognizes as damaged goods. It then removes the damaged fat cells from the area and out of your body.

During treatment, the CoolSculpting device targets only the fat cells, so no other cells or tissues are affected. We use CoolSculpting to treat many areas of the body that develop those stubborn fatty bulges, including:

With CoolSculpting, we can destroy up to 20-25% of fat cells in the treatment area after just one session.

Processing those pesky fat cells

How does all this work? The process is pretty simple and usually takes less than an hour. During your CoolSculpting session, we place the applicator directly on the area of your body that needs the extra help letting go of fat. You may feel a sucking sensation as the applicator adheres to your body.

Once attached, you should feel a cooling sensation, then tugging, pulling, and tingling as the body contouring tool gets to work. These sensations should disappear soon after you start treatment as the area numbs.

Your total treatment time may depend on the area being worked on, but most treatments only take about 35 minutes. However, if you opt to have a number of body parts treated during your session, your treatment time may be longer.

After your treatment, we massage the area to break up the frozen fat cells and assist in the elimination process. Over the next 1-3 months, your body removes the damaged fat cells from the area and eliminates them through normal body processes.

Revealing your new shape by summer

Your body works fairly quickly at removing the fat cells destroyed during your CoolSculpting session, and you may start to notice an improvement in your figure within a month of treatment. However, it may take six or more months until you see the final results of your body contouring treatment.

To help you stay on track and maintain your newly sculpted body, we offer health and wellness treatments, which includes nutrition counseling and Fit3D body scanning.

If you want to reveal a slimmer, trimmer body by summer, you need to get started with your CoolSculpting now.
